As of Saturday, September 30th, the Roulant garden has been put to rest for the winter after a productive season. Thanks to all the courageous gardeners (above) who came out for the final push on Saturday! It was an unforgettable day of fun where a rainbow of emotions surrounded the end of the 2006 gardening season.

We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated any amount of time helping out at the rooftop garden this summer. We wouldn't and couldn't have done it without you!

This year, with your help, the garden contributed in an amazing way to the Roulant kitchen. We harvested more than 13 000 cherry tomatoes (that's my favorite stat)! Again, these great harvests provided a third of the vegetables needed each day in the Santropol Roulant kitchen, which cooks an average of 90 meals a day. In comparison to last year, the garden quadrupled its productivity. Thank you everyone!
