A warm hello to all gardeners!
The gardening season has now begun and the seedling room is turning green! I invite all those interested in following the evolution of the garden from the beginning to join the core-group gardening team that will take on seedling care. After a small training within the next two weeks, you will be ready to come to the Santropol Roulant alone or with other gardeners to care of our young plants.
After your training, you will be able to choose a time that best fits your schedule on the seedling calendar in the Santropol Roulant office. At this point in time, there sould be someone visiting the seedlings everyday day as to ensure good plant health. The calendar will also let those people that choose not to commit to specific times to know when someone is there and come and help out. As well, the rooftop garden team will do its best to be present during scheduled times to facilitate the work.
If you would like to particpate in the birthing of this gardening collective, please let me know by e-mail or phone. It will be my pleasure to show you the ABCS of the seedling room. Actually, for those free from 13h30 to 14h30 this Tuesday or Thursday, we will be giving our first trainings.
