The objective of the Urban Ecology Center is to develop and disseminate an expertise in urban sustainable development, as well as how to apply this expertise throughout Montréal. The involvement of the Urban Ecology Center along with neighbouring and affiliated instituations such as the Milton Parc coop and the offices of Alternatives allows many individuals and groups the opportunity to participate in the project, while publicizing it through their publication “Place Publique�? and through workshops offered to the public.
