Do you know a roof fit for gardening?

Many of you have probably heard by now about the fire at the University of Quebec on the roof that has housed the Santropol Roulant rooftop garden for
the past two years. The garden space is not damaged, but the higher roof will be under construction for the next few months, and we’re not sure at this time if we will have access to the roof for the season 2006.

To be prepared for any scenario, we are thinking of a Plan B! And we’re asking you to put your thinking caps on and mobilize your network! We’re looking for a roof in Santropol Roulant’s neighbourhood to grow our edible garden for the 2006 season. Do you have ideas or contacts? Fill us in!

p.s. The rooftop garden 2006 season kick-off will take place at Santropol Roulant on Thursday march 23, at 5h30 pm. Mark your agendas!
